Monday, November 25 – Picture Retake Day

Tuesday, November 26 – PBIS November Celebration 2:25-3:10. Students who were not on green six times during the month of November will get to participate in Game Day! Please have your child bring a board game to school on Tuesday, November 26. Students are responsible for games they bring to school.

November 27 – November 29 – No school. Thanksgiving Break

Thank you to all the parents that attended parent-teacher conferences. I enjoyed meeting with parents and discussing your child’s progress.  As I think about things to be thankful for during the season; I am thankful for the support I have in my classroom and the great families and student’s I work with everyday. Thank you!

Letter of Week – Nn   Handwriting-Sound

First Grade

Spelling – There will be no spelling test this week. Students that need to make up a test can do a make-up this week.

Math – First graders will take a Math Test on Unit 3 when they return from break on Monday, December 2, 2013. A math study guide will go home this week, so your child can study over break.

Science – Weather changes – student’s will complete a weather graph for the week of November 25 through December 1. We are studying weather words and weather changes.  So, please have your child record the weather for this week at home and return their graph on Monday, December 2, 2013.
