I contacted MobyMax with your concerns about the placement tests. Their reply follows:

A student will usually take 30-45 minutes to complete the placement test, though lower grade level students take less time. A student can stop and come back at any time to finish the placement test. Their progress will be saved if they log out before completing the test.
