We are sending home our Lesson 1 Spelling List. In addition to the classroom activities for spelling, we will be using www.SpellingCity.com to help us practice our words. There are many good activities on this site to help children with their spelling. Please take time to look at it.

The children will be bringing home a Book Report form that is due on Friday. The genre is Realistic Fiction.

We will be doing MEAP practice. The children do take the MEAP in October.

Math homework will be nightly. If your child does not know their basic addition and subtraction facts, please practice with them. It will help them greatly in math. We do learn our multiplication facts in third grade through the 10 facts.
