SEND IN ALL YOUR LOOSE CHANGE FOR THIS GREAT CAUSE!

Though Robert Cipriano served as the Dearborn Public Schools’ Business Services Director, his true passion was athletics, in particular, running.  At the time of his death, he was collaborating with the district’s athletic directors to hold a district-wide cross country meet for middle-school and elementary-school age students. While we are saddened that he did not live long enough to see this project come to fruition, we are honored to help carry on his legacy through a fundraising effort that directly supports the Cipriano family.

March 2nd – Penny Wars begins, Oakman has entered a competition with Geer Park Elementary to raise money for the Cipriano Trust Fund.  The objective is to add more silver coins (Nickels, Dimes and Quarters), to opposing classrooms and have the most pennies accumulate in your classroom.  The class which has the least amount of silver coins wins the competition, a free pizza and ice cream party in addition to an hour of physical education with Mr. Awada.  All monies donated will benefit the Bob Cipriano Fund.
