  2. Reading Bag- DIGRAPH AND BLENDS chart– please review ALL!! practice sight words and books in reading bag! 15-20 each night!
  3. Math Bag- shapes book and math games—practice with those 10 frames and counters!

  1. Folder- Vv bag!  Today we talked about the letter Vv and its /v/ sound, like in violet, violin, velvet, etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that start with the v sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Tuesday, February 2nd).
  2. Reading Bag- DIGRAPH AND BLENDS chart– please review ALL!! Today we started 2-blends.  —15-20 minutes EACH Night!

  2. Tomorrow is the LAST day for water collection. Tomorrow morning, there will be a semi-truck at Oakman to take our collections to Flint, Michigan.  Please take your donations to the stage on the gym.
  3. THIS FRIDAY we will have a hat day AND a pajama day to raise funds to help Flint.  Wear your favorite hat and pajamas and donate $2.00 to help!

  2. Oakman School’s water drive continues.  Please bring in a case of water by FRIDAY to help families in Flint.  On Friday morning, there will be a semi-truck at Oakman to take our collections to Flint, Michigan.  Please take your donations to the stage on the gym.
  3. THIS FRIDAY we will have a hat day AND a pajama day to raise funds to help Flint.  Wear your favorite hat and pajamas and donate $2.00 to help!

PTA news!!

Hello Parents,

Tomorrow we have Principal’s Corner at 9am in the cafeteria with Mr. Awada. Join us to discuss outside parking, traffic, NWEA and other assessments as well as updates from the PTA.

Also on Friday we will have Movie Night.

TRANSYLVANIA II  is the movie of choice. It costs $2 to enter at 4pm sharp. This includes a bag of popcorn.

PARENTS ARE NEEDED TO HELP POP CORN ON FRIDAY. PLEASE COME! 200 BAGS NEED TO BE MADE AND THREE LADIES CAN NOT DO IT ALONE. Ms. Rose Harb will begin at 8am. Call her or Ms. Amged to help.

Once again, if your family enjoys coming to Movie Night then please give your time and volunteer for a couple of hours.
