Homework & Reminders 10-12-16

Tonight’s homework:

1. Folder- PLEASE FILL OUT AND RETURN PERMISSION SLIP FOR OUR FIRST FIELD TRIP TO THE APPLE ORCHARD.  Please send in $12.00 per person in a bag or envelope with your child’s name on it.  THE permission slip AND money is DUE TOMORROW!!!!!!!!  ****If we do not get them turned in, we will need to cancel the trip.  ***  

*If you are a parent interested in going, please contact me or Amged in the office to make sure your I-check form is completed (this paper was given to all parents in our beginning of the year packet but many did not return to office with a photo ID and are therefore incomplete).  It is $12.00 for each parent.

1. Please complete YOU’RE THE APPLE OF MY EYE and return to school tomorrow 10-13-16.

2. Reading bag- practice name puzzle, ABC letters/sounds, read books and practice green sight word cards, including new word “a”

3. Math bag- practice counting by 1’s and 10’s to 100 using chart and counting songs on YouTube (search count to 100!)

 

Reminders:

We have very few snacks left— please send in an October healthy snack to share with the class if you have not done so for October.  We have 30 students.

Let’s help Fordson WIN this week off the field, while helping feed the hungry in our community!  All this week you can bring in your cans or money donation to me.  Every $1 yo donate will equal 4 cans of food!  The classroom with the most donations will have a pizza party as a reward!

Homework & Reminders 10-10-16

Tonight’s Homework:

  1. Folder- Pp bag!
    Today we talked about the letter Pp and its /s/ sound, like in pig, pizza, and purple. Tonight for homework fill your Pp bag with 3-5 items at home that start with the s sound and put them in a bag for your child to share in class this week.
  2. Reading Bag- Today students got 3 NEW books to practice reading at home. *Remember there are 3 ways to read a book!!! 1. Read the PICTURES! 2. Read the WORDS! 3. Retell the story.   Today students also got a ring with 3 green sight word cards on it  (the, to, I) Students need to also work ON THEIR NAME PUZZLE!  They need to be able to put them in order and NAME EACH LETTER.
  3. Math Bag- practice counting by 1’s to 50.  Practice counting by 10’s to 100 using the chart in your bag.

Please bring a snack to share with 30 children.
