1. Folder- sight word I paper and apples interest survey (please so this with your child)
2. Reading bag- NEW “my 5 senses book”, sight words (the, to, and, he, I), ABC chart/sounds, read the pictures/listen to reading–15 minutes each night!!
3. Math bag- practice counting AND writing numbers 0-10

Please send in $5.00 for your child to purchase a ANTI-BULLY OAKMAN T-SHIRT by Friday.

Field Trip permission slips were sent home today.  Please fill out and send in with $8.00 by 10-13-15.  If you would like to go with us, you need the background check (stapled paper) filled out and given to the office with a copy of your ID AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!

3. Math Bag- counting and writing 0-10, Please check out everyday math www.everydaymathonline.com and on your child’s math bag is the password and username.

3. Math- bag- count 0-10, write numbers 0-10 on plastic paper with dry earse marker (in reading bag- they each have 1).

1. Tomorrow there is popcorn for sale in the morning.  50 cents a bag, must be given to teacher by 9am.  Pizza sale after school.

Please send in snacks for October for us to share as a class.  Even if you child brings snack from home, we ask that each family donate a snack a month for days your child does not have snack or forgets to bring it from home.  Healthy snacks include fruit, vegetables, yogurt, cheese sticks, crackers, etc.  (no chips or cookies please) Thank you.

2. Reading Bags- read books, practice sight words the and to, name puzzle, ABC letter/sound chart AND **new** practice writing FIRST and LAST name on plastic paper with dry erase marker— ALL KINDERGARTNERS MUST BE ABLE TO WRITE THEIR NAME BY THEMSELVES!!
3. Math Bag- practice counting cubes add and take away.

1. Tonight is OPEN HOUSE from 5-6:30… you can stop by at anytime and have your child show you around our classroom and all the fun we have in kindergarten.  Also, please make sure to stop by the PTA table and sign up for conferences at the table in the hallway by the office.
2. Tomorrow is Mr. Awada’s first principal corner meeting.  Please attend if you are able.  It begins at 8:50am in the cafeteria.
