Homework & Reminders 3-29-19
1. Oakman Folder-Sign and return behavior calendar for March! Complete SPRING HOMEWORK READING LOG AND SPRING MATH PAGES!!! Use retelling bookmark to talk about the books you are reading.
** All sight words on ring are: I, the, can, see, like, to, look, at, come, and, a, we, go, my, in, is, has, for, are, here, you, dog, up, on, have, said, it, she, me, went, make, they and 2 NEW sight words play and no.
3.READING GROUP BAG—> , re-read old books for fluency AND read NEW book 3 times remembering to point to each word as you read AND extend to asking questions such as: “Find a sight word on this page. Point to word that starts with the /s/ sound. ETC.” Please keep alphabet linking chart and on back NEW consonants blends and digraphs in their bag– this is to help with reading and writing during reading groups and can be practiced at home as part of 15 minutes of reading each night!

Kindergarten Spelling Week of March 25th Test on FRIDAY, March 29th This week’s spelling words are: said for we ten hen Plus 2 other words from the –en family (such as pen, den, men, Ben etc.) Thank you for practicing spelling words EACH NIGHT by doing daily assignments (inside cover) in their spelling notebooks!
