1. Folder— sign behavior calendar FOR NOVEMBER! Sight words paper for “up” AND “look”

Letter Bb bag!

2. Reading Bag-Practice ALL 14 sight word cards including NEW word “look”–   Reading Group Book (black at white copy) fill out on READING LOG!

3. Math Bag- Math Workbook Unit 2 needs to be complete by December 22– Please continue doing a page each night!  PLEASE do a few pages this weekend since no school tomorrow! 🙂

No school for K/Young 5’s tomorrow (Friday).

Oakman School Movie Night is tomorrow:

When: Friday 17th November

Time: 4:00 to 5:30 pm.

Movie: The Emoji Movie

Cost: $2 entry fee includes bag of popcorn

There will also be pizza, chips, cupcakes and drinks available for purchase during the movie

Have a nice weekend.  See you Monday for a short Thanksgiving week!  (No school 11-22, 11-23, and 11-24).

Friday Movie Night

Today we talked about the letter Ll and its /l/ sound, like in leaf, lizard, and lego etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that start with the b sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Tuesday, November 21th).  Thank you!

2. Reading Bag-Practice ALL 13 sight word cards including NEW word “look”–   Reading Group Book (black at white copy) fill out on READING LOG!

1. Folder— sign behavior calendar FOR NOVEMBER!

Letter Ee bag!

Today we talked about the letter Ee and its /e/ sound, like Eagle, egg, elephant, etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that start with the p sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class (Tuesday, November 40th ).  Thank you!

2. Reading Bag-Practice ALL 12 sight word cards including NEW word “Up”– Practice the sight word up trace it, read it, color it, and write it around the rectangle.  All students also have gotten a black and white paper book from their READING GROUP… practice pointing to each word and READING THE WORDS in this book—they should be able to do it mostly on their own– please check in and monitor so they are practicing correctly!

3. Math Bag- NEW MATH WORKBOOK— finish unit 1 (up to page 13) by November 13th—that is about 1 PAGE EACH DAY– I will be checking tomorrow!!

Reminders:

Thursday will be PAJAMA DAY for Kindergarten (No school for K/Young 5’s on Friday).

There is a sign up sheet outside of the classroom for our feast!

3. Math Bag- MATH WORKBOOK UNIT 2 Numbers to 10— p.17-43, please continue a page EACH night– the due date for this unit will be before Winter Break (December 22).  Thank you for your support in helping your child practice their math skills to further what they are learning in class!!!!!

Reminders:

Next Week Conference Nights are Wednesday and Thursday— I will send reminders home on Monday.

Next Week, KINDERGARTEN will have Pajama day on THURSDAY since there is NO SCHOOL FOR KINDERGARTEN/YOUNG 5s on Friday, November 17.
