2. Reading Bag-
#1 Reading Group Books—fill out READING LOG for NEW book! Students have a log in their reading bags! ***Some students got NEW ones today depending on their book number!!
#2 Practice ALL 27 sight word cards including NEW word “on.” Have your child look for this word in books and talk to them about how to use it properly in a sentence. **Have them use the word in a sentence then WRITE the sentence! We are working HARD on writing sentences using our sight words and s—t—e—c—h—-i—-n—g words we don’t know and writing the sounds we hear when we say it slow.
3. Math Bag- Math Workbook Units 3 and 4 need to be completed before our February Break.– Please continue doing a page each night!

Today we talked about WORDS that have a wh sound like, wheel, whale, whiskers, white, whistle etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that have the wh sound in the WORD and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Thursday, February 1st). Thank you!

Monday: write the words three times each
Example: is, is , is
Tuesday: write the consonants in blue and the vowels in red
Example: mat
Wednesday: rainbow words, write each letter in a different color
Example: cat
Thursday: Use each word in a sentence. (Use sight words and s-t-r-e-a-c-h the sounds for the words you don’t know) Underline the spelling word inside the sentence.
Friday: TEST DAY
