Homework & Reminders 9-6-18
Homework
- Oakman Folder- Sign and return behavior calendar for September— parents please initial next to the circle for today (September 6th).   **Please complete the letter Mm bag and bring items that start with the /m/ sound to share tomorrow!
- Reading/Math Bag-Please take 15 minutes to “read” the early readers in your child’s bag. Remember there are 3 ways to “read” a book! Also, practice counting using the 100s chart (point to each number as you count).

Math- green workbook read page 7 together and then complete Lesson 1 page 9 in workbook don’t tear it out leave it in the workbook and return to school tomorrow.
- ***For those familiar with CLEVER and our online learning tools, please use your child’s username (blue number) and password (red number on back of card) to begin using online learning… I have a link to ABCya games on my page (this is what we are using in class to start). ***
Step by Step directions will be sent home soon so students can begin using online learning tools as part of their homework time.
Reminders:
Tomorrow we have GYM!!! Wear gym shoes!!
We need all school supplies by the end of the week and snack for the month please!

Letter Mm song!— homework is letter m bag Letter Mm bag! Today we talked about the letter Mm and its /m/ sound, like in monkey, moon, mouse, etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that start with the m sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Friday, September 7th). Thank you!

1 medium sized bottle of Hand Sanitizer
2 packs of Baby Wipes
Ziploc Bags (2 sandwich, 2 quart, and 2 gallon sizes)
6 Clorox Wipes
2 Boxes of 24 Crayons
Box of 8 Washable Markers
Box of Blue, Black, and Red Pens
Clear Page Protectors
One snack to share with the class (19 students) pretzels, goldfish, crackers, granola bars, or a healthy snack please.
Can’t wait to see everyone on the first day of school on Monday, August 27, 2018, please remember the first week for kindergarten and young 5’s is a soft start with ½ days only (dismissal at 12:00). On Tuesday, September 4, kindergarten and young 5’s will start full days with the rest of the school with dismissal at 3:30 pm from your child’s classroom.
