make, they, and our two new words: play and no our 2 NEW sight words .
3.READING GROUP BAG—> read NEW book 3 times remembering to point to each word as you read AND extend to asking questions such as: “Find a sight word on this page. Point to word that starts with the /s/ sound. ETC.” Please keep alphabet linking chart and on back NEW consonants blends and digraphs in their bag– this is to help with reading and writing during reading groups and can be practiced at home as part of 15 minutes of reading each night!
4. Math Module 4 NEW homework workbook-lesson 12, helper on page 47 and homework page 49 AND 50.
5. Spelling Notebook
- Tuesday: Consonants/Vowels!
- Write each spelling word using one color for consonants and another color for vowels. Repeat 2 times.
- 1 dictated sentence (write sentence teacher says aloud) and 1 sentence of their own (with a spelling word in it). *BONUS* will only be given if they have all parts of a sentence from our checklist— Capital letter at the beginning, written neatly on the lines—sight words spelled correctly, finger spaces between words, AND punctuation at the end of the sentence (. ? !).
