Homework & REMINDERS 2-1-18

 First, thanks you for practicing for our first spelling test today— they did really well and most importantly tried their best.   From now on, every Monday they will get new words and Test Day will be on Friday.  We know this is a process and we want to see GROWTH each week!  This is getting them ready for 1st grade!!!! 🙂
 1. Folder— sign behavior calendar for FEBRUARY!—

 

2. Reading Bag-

#1 Reading Group Books—fill out READING LOG for NEW book! Students have a log in their reading bags! ***Some students got NEW ones today depending on their book number!!

#2 Practice ALL 27 sight word cards including NEW word “on.” Have your child look for this word in books and talk to them about how to use it properly in a sentence.  **Have them use the word in a sentence then WRITE the sentence! We are working HARD on writing sentences using our sight words and s—t—e—c—h—-i—-n—g words we don’t know and writing the sounds we hear when we say it slow.

3. Math Bag- Math Workbook Units 3 and 4 need to be completed before our February Break.– Please continue doing a page each night!

***REMINDER***NO SCHOOL FOR KINDERGARTEN AND YOUNG 5s TOMORROW (FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2nd)!!!!!******
