- Folder-***MATH WORKBOOK PAGE p.69 (Parent Letter- read with your child) and p. 70 Counting 8 and 9 Activity to do at home… we will be working on numbers 8 and 9 in class this week so please review numbers 1-9 by having YOUR CHILD write each number on a piece of paper then have them draw a set of objects for (1-9) on another piece of paper… make it a game a match the number card to the picture card (Detailed directions for activity on p.70 in workbook).
2. Reading Bag- NEW SIGHT WORD, M-E, ME! Please fill your Mr. Y bag with things that make the Ya Ya sound: yo-yo, yellow, and yak.

**Make sure to practice sight words EVERYDAY!!
**Students should know all of their sight words INDEPENDENTLY (list on paper sent home today)

3. Math Bag- practice count to 100 by 1’s and 10’s using chart and/or youtube songs (search: count to 100, count by 10s), practicing counting cubes to 20 and practice WRITING NUMBERS 1-5 on laminated strips with dry erase markers, NEW GAME- Comparing Numbers on the 5 frame
