I’m a Little Leprechaun Poem- cut and glue into your poetry book
Yellow-sight words
Blue-title of poem
Red-beginning of sentence
Green-end of a sentence
Pink-rhyming words
Purple-commas
Color the Leprechaun and the pot of gold.
Then read to your family and have an adult sign in the front of the poem book. Take a selfie with your colorful poem and send it to us to see!
Sight words practice and review:
Take time to practice your 45 sight words we will be adding 5 new words next week, so make sure you know all 45 before we add more!
Writing: 15-20 minutes working on personal narrative story template (see packet) Come up with your own fun story about something you have done, such as going on a trip or a birthday party.
Reading : Listen to a story (parent/older sibling/online book) Then ASK comprehension questions from retelling rope attached—please MAKE rope at home to use like picture shown—students should answer in complete sentences!!! (10 minutes)
Do BENCHMARK red booklet story “A Late Thanksgiving Dinner” on page 4-5. Read story and complete response with a picture and sentence to match. (10 minutes)
