1. Folder— sign behavior calendar for JANUARY!—no paper! INSTEAD Have your child look for this word in books and talk to them about how to use it properly in a sentence (for a BOY). Have them use the word in a sentence they come up with! For additional practice have them write the word 3 times and write it in a sentence!
Long U WORD bag!— if you didn’t bring today, tomorrow is last chance!!
2. Reading Bag-
#1 Reading Group Books—fill out READING LOG for NEW book! Students have a log in their reading bags!
#2 Practice ALL 25 sight word cards including NEW word “he.” Have your child look for this word in books and talk to them about how to use it properly in a sentence (for a BOY). Have them use the word in a sentence they come up with! Practice he tonight by filling out the sheet for homework.
3. Math Bag- Math Workbook Units 3 and 4 need to be completed before our February Break.– Please continue doing a page each night! This is also GOOD PRACTICE FOR NWEA MATH!!! We take our NWEA MATH test on January 26th.
Reminders:
NWEA tomorrow for Reading go to be early and eat a healthy breakfast. We will start the test at 9 am.
THIS Friday, January, 26 is a half day for the end of the marking period.
