Hello 6th-grade families. My name is Robin Olzak and I am happy to say that I will be your child’s math teacher this year. If you are familiar with Woodworth then you know that 6th-grade students are organized into teams; ours is team 6D.
A little bit about myself: I have been teaching for 8 years, this is my 3rd year at Woodworth and I absolutely love it. My husband and I have 3 children – one son in 10th grade this year and another in 7th grade. We have a daughter in 6th grade this year as well. So I am familiar with all of the changes your child is going through as a middle schooler!!

I am excited to work with you and your student to make sure he or she has a positive, successful year! At any time throughout the year, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns (email is easiest). Also be sure to check your child’s progress on a regular basis using your Parent Connect account on MiStar. If you don’t have the information on how to do that the Woodworth office staff will be happy to help! Please make sure your child checks Student Connect also – one of our goals as 6th-grade teachers is helping the student’s take a more active role in their education.
