Last week was pretty much the craziest week of school I’ve seen in my 8 years of teaching! It was fun sharing stories with the the kids of what we all did on our snow/cold days off.
This week in math we are wrapping up Lesson 10 and getting right into Lesson 11 – Least Common Multiple and Greatest Common Factor. We’ll only be spending just a few days on these 2 concepts since they are review from 5th grade.
Monday: Lesson 10 Quiz, CER to be done after the quiz (homework if not finished before the end of class)
Tuesday: Begin Greatest Common Factor, PPS pg 113-114 homework
Wednesday: LATE START DAY! Least Common Multiple, PPS pg 115-116 homework
Thursday: We’ll be reviewing GCF/LCM by using blocks to build different scenarios. Then students will complete the LCM/GCF puzzle for homework
Friday: Reviewing GCF/LCM again by completing a Venn Diagram, Lesson 11 Quiz, Error Analysis to be done after the quiz (homework if not finished before the end of class)
Have a great week!
