Reading: This week we will continuing working text features and search tools.We will also begin discussing the main idea of a text.

- RI3.2 Determine the main idea of a text; recount the key details and explain how they support the main idea
Writing: This week we will be continue working on our narrative writing. We will be looking at how we can improve our writing using voice and dialouge.
- W3.3 Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, descriptive details.
Math: Students will solve two-step word problems involving all four operations and assess the reasonableness of answers. We will also have our end of module test on Friday.
- 3.OA.3 Use multiplication and division within 100 to solve word problems in situations involving equal groups, arrays, and measurement quantities.
Science: Our focus for science this week is “how can we change the motion of wheel and axle systems rolling down ramps?” and “what rules help predict where a rolling cup will end up?”
- 3-PS2-2 Make observations and/or measurements of an object’s motion to provide evidence that a pattern can be used to predict future motion.
Social Studies: We will look at reasons why people might move in and out of Michigan and the different regions Michigan belongs to.
- G2.0.2:Describe different regions to which Michigan belongs (e.g., Great Lakes Region, Midwest).
- G4.0.3:Describe some of the current movements of goods, people, jobs or information to, from, or within Michigan and explain reasons for the movements.
