Remember to practice if you want to introduce one of the songs!  Ms. Sobh’s class will introduce Sunny Side of the Street, Ms. Fawaz’s class will introduce Lean On Me, and Ms. Rida’s class will introduce Roar.  If you are in Ms. Rida’s class we will audition and write the introduction next Wednesday, November, 28.  You can write your own to practice.  It should be 4 sentences following this format, “Our next song is Roar.  (say something about what you learned, what you like about the song, what style it is in, anything else you may want the audience to know) We hope you enjoy!”  You can look at the other classes introductions as examples.

Our next song is Sunny Side of the Street.  It is sung in a Jazz style.  We learned about Scat, which is improvised vocals.  This song makes you happy instead of staying in the dark.  We hope you enjoy

Our first/next/last song is Lean on Me. The song is very smooth,  it makes us feel safe and the words make us happy. It is sung in an RnB style.  We like it and have been working on it since the beginning of the year.  We hope you enjoy.
