Here are the study questions for chapter 22.

Due April 30^th– Essay and Movie Questions- Write a 5 paragraph essay where you describe the racial and societal tensions that resulted from school desegregation, as shown in the film Remember the Titian’s.

 Your essay must include:

·             Explain how people attitudes (society) change through the movie (1 Paragraph)   

·             Examples of positive responses (1 Paragraph)

·             Examples of negative responses (1 Paragraph)

·             Examples must be from the movie

This essay is not about if you liked the film or not.  Write about how attitudes toward segregation changed throughout the film.

On Monday’s test-

You will have to write an essay where you discuss how segregation has changed over the years.  Your essay should talk about

·             the historical foundation for the segregation (how it started)

·             some of the key people in the civil rights movement

·             civil rights movement victory

The essay should flow from one statement to another.  The essay should be a minimum of 7 sentences in length.
