Good Morning! Today we’re going to assess what we’ve learned in Chapter 23 so far and take a look at the events that helped lead to the rise of Napoleon.

Here’s what we did today:

Tuesday-3/18/14:

o       Bell Work-Please take out your notes/study guide and with your elbow partner review all of the information for our test covering Chapter 23 Sections 1 and 2.

o       Attendance-While Class is Doing Bell Work

o       Quiz-Chapter 23-The French Revolution and Napoleon-Section 1 and 2 Quiz (10 Questions)

o       Video-French Revolution (37 min) w/ 20 video facts

o       Daily Objective-

o       Content Objective:

§        SWD evaluation of key concepts associated with our unit covering Chapter 23 Sections 1 and 2 by demonstrating their knowledge thought the use of a unit quiz

§        SWD synthesis of the failures of King Louis XVI and the events that led to the French Revolution through the use of guided video facts and class discussions.

o       Language Objective:

§        Students will read and write their answers in order to match up important information pertaining to our unit covering Chapter 23 Sections 1 and 2 by completing a multiple choice quiz.

§        Students will listen and record the information about the failures of King Louis XVI and the events that led to the French Revolution by responding to a video designed to cause further inquiry and classroom discussion in response to our unit on the French Revolution and Napoleon.
