Learning Activities for Monday March 30th!

Hello Parents, I hope you had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed some of the beautiful weather yesterday morning <3

Here are today’s activities, contact me if you need alternative suggestions. I am so happy to help! These are also great activity ideas for all of your learners at home, not just your preschooler.

Please make sure you are sending me pictures of your child completing the highlighted activity (consider this your “attendance” for the day)

Reminder of Suggested Schedule

While our children are at home, the most important thing we can do is to keep them in a routine. This helps comfort the child as well as provides some peace for you <3

8 am – Good Morning!

Good Morning Parents and Students, Mrs. Abdellah and I miss you all so much. Remember our letter of the week last week? Ww!

This week our letter is Ii, what things start with the letter Ii?

Can you make the letter I in the air? Big Line down, Little Line, Little Line.

9 am – Exercise

It’s a great morning for a family walk around the block. Ms. Stafiej has already taken Crunch and JoAnne on an early walk because JoAnne has to go to the dog dentist.

10 am – Academic Activity

The academic activity for today is to take a virtual field trip to an Animal Hospital:

-have your child watch the video below.

-after they finish watching, have them write about what they learned.

11 am – Creative Time

Here is a wonderful sensory experience for children using only water and cornstarch 🙂

12 pm – Lunch Time

Remember to eat your fruits and vegetables <3 Ms. Stafiej is having homemade stir fry with vegetables and shrimp!

12:30 pm – Chore Time

Clean your spot after lunch, help to wash the dishes, clean up your toys and your room.

1 pm – Quiet Time

Children have time to relax and “charge” their bodies. If your child doesn’t normally nap at home, they can read stories or do a quiet activity of your choice (no screens please!)

2:30 pm – Academic Time

Daily 5 – Listen to Reading

Listen to this excellent story about how animals use their tails or noses!
