Thank you for all of the lovely pictures I received today!
Here are the activities for Wednesday, feel free to contact me if you need help.
The main idea is letter identification, this is an area in which we are currently growing.
Today is April 1st so for something fun and exciting… we are in Magic School!
Please make sure you are sending me pictures of your child completing the activities for Friday’s blog post!
8 am – Good Morning!
Good Morning Parents and Students, today is… Wednesday!
Remember our letter of the week this week? Ii!
9 am – Outside Time
The weather is warm and sunny! Throw on a light jacket and head outside. Jumprope, hopscotch, tag are all great ideas!
10 am – Academic Activity
For our academic activity, use a white crayon to write your child’s name, letters they are learning, or sight words depending on what level your child is. Have your child paint the paper to reveal the magic letters 🙂
11 am – Creative Time
This milk science experiment is a fun and easy way for your child to explore and make observations.
- dish or plate
- milk (2% or whole works best!)
- food coloring
- dish soap
- (optional Q tip for adding soap)
What do they notice happens when you add the dish soap? Why does that happen?
12 pm – Lunch Time
Remember to eat your fruits and vegetables <3
12:30 pm – Chore Time
Clean your spot after lunch, help to wash the dishes, clean up your toys and help with laundry.
1 pm – Quiet Time
Children have time to relax and “charge” their bodies. If your child doesn’t normally nap at home, they can read stories or do a quiet activity of your choice (no screens please!)
2:30 pm – Academic Time
Write your name, sight words, or letters that you are learning onto a coffee filter. Using water drops onto the letters, can you make them disappear?
Learn some magic tricks and have a family magic show or talent show after dinner!
