Snow day fun rituals

Hi Everyone!
Ok, so we all want a Snow Day tomorrow! How do we get it? Well here is a list of things for the kids to do so we are home tomorrow!! After all We are SNOW School so I think that we have to try some of these!!!
Wear your pj’s inside out and backwards

Brush your teeth with your opposite hand

Sleep with a spoon under your pillow or under your bed

Flush ice cubes down the toilet- one at a time for every inch of snow you want~ I suggest 5 should do it

Put a white crayon on the windowsill

Wear a white sock on your left foot and a colored sock on your right

Do a snow dance~singing Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!

Before you go to bed, when you are in your pj’s run around the kitchen table 5 times

Sleep backwards in your bed
And most importantly~~~ DO YOUR HOMEWORK! If you put it off thinking it will be a Snow Day, we WILL have school! But if you do your homework ~ SNOW DAY!!!

Have Fun!❄

Science fair

Family Science Night
Dear Snow Families,

We are very excited to bring to Snow School our 3rd annual Science Fair Night. It will take place on Thursday, February 25th with a “science walk-thru” and PTA bake sale. You and your family will have time to see the wonderful projects that the students have worked so hard on for the past couple of months. Students are not required to stand next to their boards. This is simply a “walk-thru” to celebrate our accomplishments and support our students’ science skill development.
When: Thursday, February 25th 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Where: Snow Elementary School
5th grade projects will be displayed in the gym.

4th grade projects will be displayed in the cafeteria.

3rd grade projects will be displayed in the science lab.

Kindergarten-2nd grade & Special Education projects will be displayed in the lobby.
We are hoping that you and your family will be able to attend this wonderful all-school event.
Sincerely,

The Science Fair Committee & Snow PTA

Week of February 16th-19th

Thank you again to all of the students who brought in Valentine’s cards and/or candy to pass out last Thursday. Thank you to the families who gave me Valentine’s gifts as well:)
Thank you to the following families who donated items for our Valentine’s Day Party. The students enjoyed all of the delicious treats.
Students should continue to read at least 15-20 minutes each day. Reading logs need to be filled out and returned everyday.
