Good afternoon. I hope everyone is enjoying their cold day/ staying warm. I was going to send this note home today, but it looks like it will have to wait till Monday. I hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying warm. On Monday I will be sending hope a permission slip. It’s for our lunch in at Olive Garden. As you remember we’re the winning class that raising the most money for pennies for pasta. I need these permission slips back ASAP. Also I need parent chaperones to drive to Olive Garden. We will be going February 4th from 10:30-12pm. You will also be enjoying lunch with us!!!! Please let me know if you are available to drive. Thanks you..

This week there is a lot going on. We have 2 test coming up this week. On Thursday there is a math test on long division. A study guide went home today. Which needs to come back tomorrow. Please take the time and go over this with your child. Long division is a difficult concept. Also there will be a science test this Friday. Again a “what you need to know” sheet went home today. We will also be reviewing the next few days in class. Everything that your child needs to know is in there astronomy notebook. If you have any question please feel free to contact me. Thank you.

Dear parents,
This year we will be having a holiday party with the entire 5th grade on Friday December 20,2013. We will be having a pancake breakfast in the cafeteria with festive music and holiday word work. We are asking parents for donations of complete pancake mix, juice, milk , and syrup. In the afternoon, you are invited to the all school sing along in the gym at 2:30pm.
