This week spelling works are contractions. The words are getting hard please take the time to review with your child. 

There will be a math test this Friday on chapter 9. We will be reviewing Wednesday and Thursday. A study guide will be going home Wednesday. 

This Friday is our April PBIS party!! 

Field Day t-shirt money and Little Caesar’s Pizza Kit fundraiser money are both due this Friday, May 1st.

City Beautiful and STAND are having a bottle drive this week to collect recyclable bottles and cans to raise money to plant flowers in Snow School’s Peace Garden.  Please send in any empty cans or bottles to school this week.  They will be turning them in on Friday.

Snow School’s Annual Picnic is June 5th.  Each year, classes organize raffle baskets for the picnic.  This year our classroom basket will have the theme of  “Gift Cards”  Please donate any amount of gift card and location by the end of May so we can organize the basket for the picnic.  Thank you!! 

Any students who are involved in City Beautiful/STAND, the meeting for this Wednesday has been rescheduled for Thursday.  Ms. Zechar will be sending home reminder notes this week.

Wednesday night is Math night from 5:45-6:45!!!  Come join in all the fun!! Look for me.. 

Today field day shirt order form went home. They are due my May 1st “CASH only”. Help raises money for PBIS.  Field day is May 18th.

Dear Snow Families,

It’s that time of year again, the Little Caesars Pizza Kit Fundraiser is underway!  All proceeds will be used to help send next year’s Fifth Graders to Camp Pinewood.  Packets have been sent home with all important information.  If you need another, there are extras in the office.  New for this year there is an online ordering option at www.pizzakit.com (Fundraiser ID #298211).

Order forms and payments are due on May 1st and pizza kits will be delivered on May 13th, 3:00 PM-6:00 PM.

PTA is hosting a Luau/Hawaiian themed Book Bingo this Friday, April 17th.  Come join me I will be one of your callers.  The doors will open at 6:15p.m. and the calling will begin at 6:30p.m.  The cost is $3 for 4 games of bingo.  If possible, please bring small bills.  There will be a bake sale, pizza and punch for purchasing as well.  If you are able to drop off an item to donate for the bake sale, please drop it off by 6:00 p.m. on Friday. There will be a rack located by the school office to place bake sale items.  Store bought and homemade items are welcome.  Since it is a Luau/Hawaiian theme, please feel free to dress up: Hawaiian shirts, shorts, flip flops/ sandals, grass skirts etc. (no bathing suits please).  There will be a special treat for everyone at the door and we will have several guest callers:  Mrs. Grizzell, Mr. Quine, Miss Stetz, Miss Fakhoury, Mrs. Sabellico and Miss Sherlock.  We hope to see everyone there to make this the best Book Bingo/ Bake Sale ever!

Come support the Snow Elementary Cub Scouts Pack 1148 this weekend at Five Below on the Hill.  If you come Fridayand Saturday, the 3rd and 4th of April, from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm and purchase items, 10% will go to the CUB SCOUTS.   A yellow sheet is coming home today with details.

*The Spelling Test will be this Thursday due to no school this Friday along with spelling packet and book reports.

The 2nd Annual Science Fair will take place on May 11th.  We will be starting our Science Fair Project after break. 

The March PBIS party will be this Thursday, April 2nd.  Students can have no more than 4 card changes for the month of March in order to be invited to the celebration.  Congratulations to all students who met the goal of 80% on green for the month of March
