Week of March 11th-15th

Reminder that students should be completing at least 2 lessons on Zearn.org per week.

Students should be reading at least 30 minutes every night and filling out their Reading Logs.  Students must do their Reading Bag assignments daily to keep up on class.

This Wednesday we will be having a quiz on Lesson 8-12 on Subtracting fractions. Please make sure you review with your child. Please use your exit ticket and homework to help you review.

Reminder that this Wednesday, March 13th is a LATE START.  The first bell will ring at 9:35 a.m.

It is a student’s responsibility to turn in assignments on time.  If a student is absent, they still must complete the work they missed in class.  The general rule is if a student missed one day, they have one day to make up the work.  If they miss 2 days, then they have 2 days to make up the work and so on.  Students must turn in work or it will be counted as incomplete and will affect their grade on report cards.

Week of March 4th-8th

Students must be completing a least 2 lessons on Zearn.org each week.  Any students that have not completed the required assignments will miss indoor free time. Students are given time in class to complete their work, however they can work on these assignments at home as well.

Students must be reading 30 minutes every night and filling our their Reading Log.  This is a district initiative.

Snow School Family Literacy Night is next Monday, March 11th from 4:00-5:15 p.m.  Please join us for some fun literacy activities at school!

We have completed Module 3 lesson 1-7 in Math and took the Middle of Module assessment today.  Therefore, the class will be starting Module 3 lesson 8 in Math tomorrow about fractions .  Please remember that we check our homework altogether as a class.  It is your child’s responsibility to follow along as we check and to make corrections on their own paper to learn from their mistakes.  We take the time to ask and answer questions that students had on their homework.  Students receive 1 point if they completed their homework and 0 points if they did not complete their homework.
