No School Wednesday

A message sent on behalf of Superintendent Maleyko-

Due to extreme temperatures and wind chills all Dearborn Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.

If weather conditions persist as predicted, the district will most likely remain closed. However, a decision on the status of school for Thursday will be made at a later time and most likely shared with the community on Wednesday.

Please be careful and dress appropriately if you are headed outside.

Week of Jan 28th- Feb 1st

I hope everyone enjoyed their Snow Day yesterday and stayed warm and dry

Students will be completing NWEA testing this week with Math.  Once all testing is completed, a report will be sent home with your child’s current RIT scores.  Please compare the scores with the Fall 2018 scores to see if your child has shown growth.  There will be one more round of NWEA testing in the Spring.

Remember that it is your child’s responsibility to turn in all homework on time.  Late or missing work will affect your child’s grades.  Students who do not turn in their work on time will clip down to yellow and miss recess/inside free time to complete the work.

Students should be completing their Spelling word work google classroom assignments by Friday.  Students are given plenty of time in class to complete each assignment.  However, if the assignments are not done by Thursday in class, it is the child’s responsibility to complete the assignments online at home to be submitted by Friday.
