Thank you to the families that purchased supplies. Much appreciated.
Please make sure that your child is caught up with their Reading Bag assignments and work on google classroom. Students should be reading the assigned pages each night and completing a written response in their journals. Response should have complete sentences long in neat handwriting. Many students have been falling behind and this is reflected in their grades on report cards.
From Mrs. Bush: A new Moby Max Challenge will begin on Valentine’s Day. There is a contest for 3-5 and a different contest for K-2 so when students track their progress be sure students are looking at correct grade. It will end the week after Spring Break.

We want to thank all the hard working Engineers, Custodians, and staff members in the Operations and Grounds Department for putting in many extra hours this weekend to clear school parking lots and sidewalks.
We also want to extend a thank you to all the crews at the City of Dearborn who have been working hard all weekend to clear streets in our city.
After checking road conditions, talking with the City of Dearborn, and having discussions with our Transportation Department the District does not anticipate any wide spread problems or delays.
However, with the amount of snowfall and cold temperatures, conditions may exist on a few side streets that require slower then normal and extra cautious driving. Please be advised that these conditions may cause some buses to run a bit behind schedule on Monday.
Bundle up and see you in school on Monday!
Due to the severe weather headed our way all Dearborn Public Schools will be closed on Friday, February 9, 2018.
Stay safe and warm
