Week of January 9th-13th

Welcome back!!! I hope everyone had a nice and relaxing vacation.

Thank you to all of the wonderful families who gave me a Christmas gift and/or card. It was so thoughtful and generous of all of you!
Thank you to the families that donated items to our Holiday Pankcake party!! It was a huge success!

Snow School Skate Night is this Thursday, January 12th at Lincoln Park Skating Center from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Pre Sale is $7.00 and at the door is $9.00. Fliers are coming home today.

Just a reminder that all Science Fair Projects are due Wednesday, January 25th. Students will be presenting their projects in class for a grade. Parents will be invited to attend a “Wacky Science” assembly on Thursday, January 26th starting at 6:00 p.m. then browse through the school at the Science Fair to view students’ Science Projects.

We will begin our Winter NWEA testing this week. Students will take the Language NWEA on Thursday morning. Each week thereafter, we will take one of the remaining NWEA tests of Reading, Math, and Science. At the end of all testing, I will send home a printed report for each child so you can view their current scores and see if they’ve shown improvement since the beginning of the year.

Family Science Night

Family Science Night
Dear Snow Families,

We are very excited to bring to Snow Elementary School our 4th Annual Family Science Night! It will take place on Thursday, January 26th 6:00-7:30 p.m. The evening will begin in the gym with a “Wacky Science” presentation by Scheer Magic Productions. This will begin at 6:00 p.m. sharp, so please plan accordingly. After the assembly, you and your family will have time to walk around the school to see the wonderful science projects that the students have accomplished. We invite you to celebrate our success and support your student’s science skill development.
Sincerely,

The Science Fair Committee & Snow PTA
