Our second science test on the solar systme will be this Thursday. A study guide will go home tomorrow. We will also be studying in class Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
Students should go onto xtramath.org at home as often as possible. We will go to this free website in class, but the more students practice their basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills the more proficient they will become in computation.
There is a M & M challenge for the month of December. As previously posted, the contest will run from December 1st – January 14th. The top 3 students in the school with the most badges earned on MobyMax and the top 3 readers on MyOn will receive certificates and a gift card. For students to login to CLEVER the STUDENT must be logged to the computer with THEIR email and password. So you must log off or ADD ANOTHER ACCOUNT so your child can login. Then: GO to the Dearborn Public Schools home page. Click Resources and Students. Then click CLEVER. Finally click Moby Max or Myon. Brrrr! It’s getting colder…
Students will be lining up in the gym every morning, beginning Monday. Nov. 28 until spring. The bell rings at 8:35 and the tardy bell rings at 8:40. Students may begin lining up in the gym at 8:20. Breakfast is served in the cafeteria, beginning at 8:15.
Dearborn Schools policy is for students to have outdoor recess as long as the windchill is 20 degrees or higher, so please be sure your child has gloves, a hat or hood and a warm coat when the temperature dips.
Stay warm!
Unit 3 Math test
I have corrected their unit 3 math test and they went home today. If your child received a “4”, he/she may retake the test Monday. The student needs to come to me to tell me if they are retaking the test. If a student received a “3”, he/she may see me to do test corrections to receive 1/2 credit to improve their grade. Congratulations to those students who received a “2” or “1” on the test.
