Week of March 21st-24th
Literacy Night is this Wednesday night 3/23 from 4:30-6:00.we had our book fair today! The book fair will be open after school everyday. It will also be open during literacy night as well.
Last weeks spelling test will go home tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.
Parent teacher conferences are scheduled by appointment only.Conference form went home today. If you have any question please email.
There is no school Friday, March 25th – April 1st due to Spring Break. Students will return to school on Monday, April 4th.
The contest for Box Tops will end on Wednesday, April 6th. Thank you to the families that have already sent in donations. The class with the most Box Tops turned in will have a pizza party. Continue to collect and send in Box Tops by Wednesday, April 6th.
Skate Night is this Thursday night at Lincoln Park Skating Rink from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tickets are $7/skater in advance and $9/skater at the door. Come have a great night with friends!

Late start
Tomorrow – Wednesday, March 16, – is a Late Start day. School begins at 9:35 AM. The tardy bell rings at 9:40 AM. Breakfast will be available in the cafeteria beginning at 9:15.
Scholastic book fair!!
The Scholastic Book Fair is almost here!Here is a link to give your students a Book Fair Preview. There are 2 separate videos depending on grade level.
***The K-3 video clip, which is 11 minutes long, features both the author and the illustrator of Last Stop on Market Street, which won the Newberry Medal and Caldecott Honor awards.
***The 4-6 video clip, 13 minutes long, features author Sharon Robinson and her book about her father, baseball legend Jackie Robinson. It also has the author/illustrator of the graphic novel Roller Girl, which won a Newberry Honor award.
