Week of Jan. 25th-29th

Please continue to study math facts at home with your child. We take a 50 question 4 minute test everyday. This is a large part of your child’s computation grade on the upcoming report card.
Students should be reading 15-20 minutes every night in order to improve their reading fluency and comprehension.

In writing we’ve started informational writing/ research paper about one of our presidents. Your child received their president on Friday, and also have checked out a book today on their president. If you’d like to do some research at home you’re more than welcome to. They may  bring in their findings to school so they have more information that will help them in their writing. We will also be looking online as well for more information.

Our class has already completed our NWEA tests.I’ve send home an updated bar graph to compare with their scores from October.

Third time is a charm??? The Lions Organization is scheduled to come tomorrow (Tuesday) for their Anti-Bullying Assembly. Please encourage your child to wear their Lions gear of Snow School shirts on Tuesday.

Snow School’s Habit Hop is this Wednesday, January 27th. If your family did not return the yellow RSVP paper, you can still send in a note stating how many people in your family plan on attending.
Reminder that this Friday, January 29th is a half day.
