Spelling Words

The first 5 words are pattern words and words 6-10 are review Dolch words (which are sight words that your students are already familiar with). There will be a spelling test every Friday. Along with the pattern words and Dolch words, there will be 5 “mystery” words on the spelling test that follow the same pattern we are learning for the week.

Each week, I will send home a spelling homework sheet on Monday and it is due on Friday. Spelling test are every Friday. They will returned on fridays or Monday’s. Please make sure to sign your child spelling test and return them back ASAP. 

Please make sure your looking at and signing. Your child’s planner every day. It is their responsibility to make sure that they are filling out their planner and showing it to you. The items that are circled in their planner are what they have for homework that day . I remind them throughout the day to fill out their planners. 

Students should continue to read for 15-20 minutes. And continue filling out their reading log every night.
Reminder that Snow School Spirit Wear order forms are due Wednesday, September 30th.
There will be a pizza night this Wednesday, September 30th at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria for our Watch Dog program. Bring a dad, uncle, grandfather, or important male figure in your life to enjoy pizza and learn about volunteering for the Watch Dog program at Snow School.
