Remember:

“Its not about how smart you are, but how hard you try.”

To my fellow blog visitors,

Thank you so much for visiting this site. As a student in my class, I am hoping that you become accustomed to using an online learning community to facilitate and ease your understanding in my class. This blog, along with all the features and resources I offer, is the KEY to your success in my class.

You should set a routine for yourself to check the blog at least once a day, even on the days that you do not have any assigned homework. It always has updated resources for what we are discussing in class, support for homework you’re assigned, guides for studying for the tests, news of upcoming events in the school, and an updated calendar of what’s to come.

This is a history course, therefore we will be discussing events and people that have already happened starting with the earliest human forms. There will be an extensive study of different civilizations that existed and their impact on the environment, their neighbors, and on the course of mankind. Certain people will be studied including the Greeks, Muslims, Byzantines, Mongols, and Ottomans. We will also cover certain time periods such as the renaissance, emergence of religions, explorations, slave trade, and rise of monarchies.

“I am a firm believer that when I raise my expectations, students can and will follow.”

Good luck!

Love and peace,

Ms. Reda
