The children did a great job their first week of school. Your child brought some items we worked on like their names and numbers. We worked on lots of expected routines. Please review simple rules such as when the teacher is talking they should be listening, to raise their hand and wait to be called on and keeping their hands to themselves. I have introduced our schoolwide PBIS system. We have a color chart in our room with four colors green, yellow, blue and red.

• Green- represents following directions and doing a great job
• Yellow- represents  verbal warnings
• Blue- represents missing a part of recess
• Red- represents missing all of recess and parent will be receiving a call/note home

If your child remains on green all week, then they receive a pouch card to purchase in the school store.

There will be opportunities to earn dragon dollars for positive behavior, and entered in the weekly drawing.
