Reading

We will be identifying problem and solution. We will review prediction.

Spelling words: (-ad) had, mad, sad, go, look we, in

Language Arts

We are learning about l-blends (fl, bl, cl) Sight words: go, look, we, in.  We are reviewing short vowels in CVC words

Writing

We will be write a narrative about scenarios to do with 100 day. What will I look like at 100 years old. What will I do with $100 dollars. We will learn how to address in a letter/card.

Math

We will learn about missing addend with numbers for 8. We will review decomposition using number bonds going vertical and horizontal.

Science

We will create structure to protect us from the harsh weather. Students will plan and create a structure using materials provided.

Dates to keep in mind:

**100th day of school is Friday, February 22nd.

**Your child can dress up as a 100 year old person on that day.
