WOW! 8 days left for school!!!!!!! We can’t believe it. Soon enough first grade-here we come.
This week our focus will be frogs. We will read Frog and Toad series by Arnold Lobel. We will discuss the frog life cycle and how it is similar to butterflies.
We create a Venn diagram and discuss how they are alike and how they are different. We will then write a description about frogs.
Our spelling words are: dip, hip, nip, rip, grip, ship, snip, trip, skip, find
We will continue adding and subtracting this week.
In Science, we will discuss the life cycle of a frog: egg, tadpole, tadpole with legs, froglet, adult frog
In Social Studies, we will discuss the important parts of the flag. the color, the 50 stars, the 13 stripes etc.
