On Thursday May 23rd, students from Henry Ford College EMS Department will be coming in (from 2 to 430pm) to do a Street and Fire Safety review with the children. The students will have some hands on fun learning activities from the EMS students.

As part of the requirements from the  HFC EMS Department, those students will conducting a health examination on all the children (they will listen their hearts and take their blood pressure). This will help the EMS students get hands on experience to view the states of a healthy child.

An Ambulance will also be available for the students to get in and explore. There may be a special visit from Sparky the Firedog as well 😊

Parent Teacher Conferences will be the week of May 20th! Pleases see the conference sign up sheet next to the clip board!

We will go over all the ASQ Questionnaires  as well as the progress your child has made through out the school year!

Just a reminder for those of you who haven’t done so, your ASQ Questionnaires are due by Friday May 10th!!

Last week we celebrated Earth Day. We talked about ways we can help the earth (recycling and not littering).  We also discussed things that we can recycle and why it is important to recycle. Litter bugs seemed to be one of the favorite thing they like talking about. Why it is important not to litter and how it harms the animals and our earth! While we played on the playground we picked up some of the litter on the playground.
