Pick up different colors. Rainbow write your name. Write your name in one color and than go over it with a different color and than over it again with each color. A parent or family member can first write the name for those who still are working on tracing.

Go on a nature walk. What do you see?

Make a collage of all your favorite things. You can cut pictures out of newspapers or magazines

Read your favorite book. Talk about the author, illustrator, front of the book, and back of the book.

At meal time, have your child practice using their manners to request food. “Mom may I have the cheese please”

Alphabet BINGO Game. Write the letters on a piece of paper and have your child find each letter when named.

Go on a nature walk. Make an AB and a ABC Pattern using rocks, flowers, and sticks.

Use playdough… roll it, squish it, pinch the dough, ect. Use some cookie cutters to make some different shapes. What can you build.

Play a listening game. Practice identifying the first letter sound in words. “Listen to the word Cat, what is the first sound you hear. “

Play “Simon Says”. Practice a variety of 1, 2, 3 steps directions. Ex: “Touch your toes and turn around. “
