Good Afternoon, Hard to believe that school is OFFICIALLY going to be starting on Monday! 
I just wanted to take a minute to send out a few little reminders for the first week of school.
For those of you who will be attending on Monday, August 26th. This is technically a Half Day of school for Dearborn Schools, but we will be in operation as a normal day for those of you who still have to work.Please make sure to pack your child a lunch, the cafeteria will be closed that day.  If you have older siblings that you are picking up and would like to pick up your child, that is fine. 
For lunch the rest of the week, from what I have been told, children will go into the lunch room and decide what they would like to eat that day. There will be 3 different meal options, 2 vegetables, some fruit, and a salad bar for the kids to pick from. There is NO additional charges for lunch. You may also choose to send your child a lunch to school.
On Friday, August 30th and Monday September 2nd, there will be NO SCHOOL those days for Labor Day Weekend.
