Hi all! Here are your reminders for the week!

Language Arts–we are working on a sight word review particularly the words “like” and “look”. Please remember to practice those rainbow sight word lists at home as well. We are back to working on narrative writing and showing how we can label characters and setting.

Math–we are finishing up and assessing Module 1. Your child should be able to independently count from 1-25, write numerals from 1-10 and count small groups of objects. We have also covered the concepts of “one more” and “one less”.

Thursday is our Halloween party! Remember to have your child dressed in their costume when they come to school and please stay for the parade. It would be very helpful if you could send a reusable shopping bag or some type of bag for the costume to go in when we change after the party. Big thanks to Mrs. Frisk and Mrs. Miller for planning this event!

Friday is a half day for students. The teachers will be working hard on your child’s first report card! Dismissal is at 11:45 that day.

No school for students next Tuesday, November 5th.
