Hello all! The germs finally got me! I will be headed home this afternoon sick. Please ask your child how it went with their first guest teacher in our room.

Language Arts–this week we will study letters Cc and Dd as well as the word at. We will continue working on answering questions about a story and retelling events.

Math–we will be completing lessons 21-24. At home, ask your child to count random groups of things they find like coins, eggs, rocks, etc. We have also been working hard on writing the numerals 0-8. Ask your child to show you!

Social Studies–we will work on learning about ourselves

Science–continuing our unit on forces/pushes and pulls. We are really enjoying our Mystery Science lessons. I hope they told you about last week’s bowling lesson lol!

Thanks to all who sent in money for our Raz-Kids accounts! We practiced signing ourselves in and out of the Chromebooks last week and hope to get online and launch “Listen to Reading” this week or next.

I will be at a workshop this Friday which is a half day. My friend Mrs. Rodgers is subbing for me and she is great! She has subbed for me many times over the years. The kids will be in good hands!

Last day for field trip money and slips is this Wednesday!
