Look in GREEN folders tonight!
In your child’s folder you will find:
Side note: If your child’s green folder is falling apart, please use some packaging tape to put the folder back together, or please purchase another green folder for you child. Some folders are torn in half and is difficult to place work and or important notes in your child’s folder. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter!
- Homework. Please make sure to fill out your child’s reading each night! -Ap word family and +6 math test is this Friday!
- Spelling booklets came home today. Make sure to look over your child’s test, sign and return back in your child’s folder.
- 100th day note came home today! All projects are due on Friday, February 16th. I will take the projects early, if you complete them before the due date:) I left examples of 100th Day projects on the last blog post. Make sure to check it out!:)
- Popcorn slip came home today.
- Student Progress MAP report is in your child’s folder. This is a good snap shot of your child’s current standing and how they scored compared to other Kindergarten students. Remember: the blue graph shows your child’s RIT score and the yellow and orange are the norm and district scores. The goal is for each child to score a 158, in both math and reading, by the end of the year to be on grade level!
- A letter about the Valentine’s Day dance came home today!
- New books came home in your child’s reading bag. Please use the numerous handouts, for tips, on how to better assist your child in becoming a better reader! Happy Reading!
- Remember: late start is this Wednesday. School will start at 9:30a.m!
