Star Student activity coming home today!

Dear Families,
We are launching STAR student of the week in Kindergarten! Your child will be coming home with a star student sheet this week. It’s a feel good activity that makes the kids really excited about writing and learning new things about their friends!  Be as creative as you want with the star student sheet. Add pictures, drawings, crafts, stickers, objects to the handout…there is no wrong answer! This activity is due back by Friday, October 25th.  If your child does not bring it back, they will not be able to participate as a star student in the classroom.  Your child will be selected at random by the teacher. When your child is picked, we will talk about your child, look at his/her poster and write about him/her in class.  At the end of the week, the star student will come home with a published book to keep and read for years to come! We can’t wait to celebrate our shining stars in Kindergarten!
