Going on a Number Walk

numbers

For this project you will need to go on a Number Walk in your local community with an adult member of your family.

Requirements:

  • You may choose one specific number to look for on your Number walk (e.g. 7) or you may decide to look for all numbers from 0-10 or 0-20.
  • Keep a record of the numbers you see on your walk. you can draw pictures, take photographs or write about the numbers you see.
  • Think of a creative way to share the numbers you saw on your walk with the class. You can make a poster, a book, or even a multimedia presentation.
  • You will have 2-3 minutes to share your project. Practice what you will say with a family member so that you will feel confident speaking in front of the class.

Bring your project to school to share on OCTOBER 27th.

Any project turned in after that date will have points taken off.

Thank you so much for all your support and cooperation. I hope you have fun with this project!
