For this project you will need to go on a Number Walk in your local community with an adult member of your family.
Requirements:
- You may choose one specific number to look for on your Number Walk(e.g. Just look for the number 7) or you may decide to look for all numbers from 0-10 or from 0-20.
- Keep a record of the numbers you see on your walk. You can draw pictures, take photographs or write about the numbers you see.
- Think of a creative way to share the numbers you saw on your walk with the class. You can make a poster, a book, or even a multimedia presentation.
- You will have 2-5 minutes to share your project. Practice what you will say with a family member so that you feel confident speaking in front of the class.
Don;t forget to bring your project to school to share on November 16th. I’m looking forward to see what you have done!!
