Holiday Season

Greetings 4th Grade Families!

With the Holiday season just around the corner I wanted to send a few reminders 🙂

Ornament Sale

The Ecology Club will be putting on their annual ornament sale to raise money for  the Wayne County homeless shelter. The shelter services families who need assistance getting back on their feet.  The sale will take place during lunches the last week before Winter Break (December 14-18).

Mitten Tree

Mrs. Suarez is putting on a “Mitten Tree” to collect *new* mittens, gloves, scarves, socks and hats for those in need through Star Fish Family Services. Starfish Family Services supports children, teens and adults, so all sizes are accepted.  Don’t forget about the socks.  Individual and packaged socks will all be accepted.  Keep your eyes out for those sale papers!

Holiday Celebration

Our 4th grade class will be having a Holiday Celebration on Friday, December 18th. Donation requests will be sent out closer to the date. We will be looking for fruit, veggie and other healthy snack donations as well as some craft item donations. Keep an eye out if you’re interested in donating 🙂

Holiday Gifts

Some students have been asking about Holiday gifts. Our class would benefit from a few more stools for alternative seating in our classroom.  Here is a link to the stools we currently have in our room. I know that “5 Below” also had stools similar to this earlier in the year. The preferred colors are black & green
