Mid-Winter Break is here already!
All assignments were started at school, they just need to be finished at home. Nothing new was assigned over break with the exception of the 2 pages in our writing notebook.
Math: – Valentine’s Day Division- every question must be answered, then the picture should be colored. (assignment #1)
Science: Moon Phases- finish coloring your moon phases diagram. Remember to color nicely, there shouldn’t be lines showing from where you colored and didn’t color. (assignment #2)
Social Studies: 3 Branches paper- Write about the three branches of our Federal Government. Each paragraph should be about 1 branch. Tell what the branch does, who is on the branch, and how they are elected. Remember to INDENT each paragraph. You must also have an introduction and conclusion, for a total of 5 paragraphs. Remember that we started a graphic organizer together in your writing notebook. (assignment #3)
Unit 5_ Our Federal Government- essay on 3 branches <– Essay Prompt
Reading/Language Arts: 2 pages in your writing notebook. If you forgot your writing notebook, use loose leaf paper to complete these 2 pages. (assignments #4-5)
Dr. Moughni also sent home a reading log that should be filled out daily. Students are expected to read 35-45 minutes daily. (assignment #6)
All materials were provided before students left for break and I am even offering copies here on our blog. If you don’t have a printer, consider visiting the library or using a blank piece of paper to complete the assignment. Please be responsible and complete your work. All work will be collected on Monday, February 27, 2017.
Tonight is our annual Science Night. Come to Henry Ford from 5-7 with your family to get your hands on cool science experiments and to watch amazing science demonstrations!
